Start for LUBI seminar series

LUBI will start organizing a seminar series this spring. The seminars will focus on methods in bioinformatics.

The focus of these seminar series are methods: how-to apply bioinformatics in a study or in one´s research, described at a level that can attract researchers at many different stages

The first seminar will take place on March 3rd, at 13-14, where Ulrich Pfisterer and Per Brattås from CTG will talk about  “Bioinformatics aspects in scRNA-seq”. Read more about this event at the event website in the LUBI calender.

The second seminar will be on April 13th, 13-14. Professor Sven Nelander, Uppsala University, presenting "Data-driven discovery of treatments for nervous system cancers". Read more about the event at the event website in the LUBI calender.

A third seminar will be in May, information TBA.

This spring the seminars will be online via zoom. We plan for 3-4 seminars per semester and information about the coming seminars will soon be available on this page.

In the future, we hope to have seminars IRL together with a fika afterwards.
