Description: Prasoon is a Ph.D. in cancer biology and bioinformatics from Uppsala University. He is currently working as an NBIS bioinformatician at the Faculty of Medicine, Lund University. His expertise is in analyzing metabolomic, transcriptomic, and genomic data and doing data integration to make better biological inferences. During his postdoc in Canada, he worked on a project investigating T2D in First Nation adolescents. He analyzed metabolomic and epigenetic data obtained from diabetic children and integrated the datasets to identify new targets.
