Courses and programs in bioinformatics

Basic data handling and visualization with R (Ph.D course)

This Ph.D. course at LU will preliminary be at week 38 2024. Info will be updated during the spring. The purpose of the course is to provide basic knowledge of the programming language R to facilitate independent future use of applications written and / or implemented in this language, such as statistical analysis programs.

 

Medical Bioinformatics, Introductory course

This is a PhD course that is occuring every spring, although not in 2024. The course is 1,5 hp and the aim of the course is to provide participants with a basic understanding of bioinformatics concepts and methods. The course has several lecturers, giving lectures about e.g workflows and reproducible research,  scRNA-seq, proteomics, multiomics integration, bioinformatics in a clinical and translational setting, as well as a computer labs including scRNA-seq and GWAS.

 

Master programme in bioinformatics

Master programme, 120 hp (2 years) at the Faculty of Science.
