Courses and programs in bioinformatics

Basic data handling and visualization with R (Ph.D course)

This new Ph.D. course at LU (week 39) is now open for registration. The purpose of the course is to provide basic knowledge of the programming language R to facilitate independent future use of applications written and / or implemented in this language, such as statistical analysis programs.

Workshop in data visualisation in R

NBIS has a Workshop in data visualization min Lund, April 27-2th. Application open between January 31st to March 18th.

Medical Bioinformatics, Introductory course

This is a PhD course that is occuring every spring, although not in 2022. The course is 1,5 hp and the aim of the course is to provide participants with a basic understanding of bioinformatics concepts and methods. The course has several lecturers, giving lectures about e.g workflows and reproducible research,  scRNA-seq, proteomics, multiomics integration, bioinformatics in a clinical and translational setting, as well as a computer labs including scRNA-seq and GWAS.

 

Master programme in bioinformatics

Master programme, 120 hp (2 years) at the Faculty of Science.
